Connecting Stripe, the modal, security, and pricing — answered.
You paste a Stripe restricted key with write access to Subscriptions and Coupons. We store it encrypted at rest and use it only to apply the pauses, discounts, and plan switches you configure. We never ask for your full secret key.
No. The cancel flow renders inside an isolated iframe overlay, so none of your CSS leaks in or out. You control the company name, accent color, and copy from your dashboard.
We verify every subscription against your own Stripe account before doing anything. For extra hardening you can HMAC-sign the subscription id on your server — Stayward will reject anything unsigned or tampered with.
We set the subscription to cancel at period end (so they keep access until they've paid through) and can send an automatic winback email.
